This February Cinnamon Girls features the artwork of Ottawa photographic printmaker Jake Morrison.  

These pigment-on-paper prints are from his Western Panoramas series and new work from the Wild In the City series. The Artist stitches a series of digital images into large panoramas. Panoramas of Western wheat fields, recently cut, are rich with the colour and texture of the prairies. Panoramas of fall asters, milkweed & never-cut grasses are gorgeous in their detail. Panoramas of the wildlands in a city are shaped to show the city as intrusion on Nature.
